Service fault

Report a service fault

Report a service that’s down, running poorly or not working as it should. Run a few safe checks first. Then tell us what’s affected, when it started and how to reach you.

If there is an immediate threat to life or property, call Triple Zero (000) using any available working service. Do not rely on website chat or email for an emergency.

Before reporting a fault

A few safe checks first

  1. 1

    Check the basics

Check the power, equipment lights, cables and the network-status page, where it’s safe and appropriate to do so.

  2. 2

Restart only if your guide says so

Only restart equipment if your service guide recommends it and the device isn’t supporting a critical process.

  3. 3

    Note what’s happening

Note the affected service, when it started, the users or sites affected, the symptoms and any recent change.

Before you start the form

  • Your service ID or account reference, if it’s safe to provide
  • When the issue started
  • What’s not working and who’s affected
  • Any recent change to equipment, settings or the site
  • The best way and time to reach you

Corporate priority incidents

Use the contact path in your service schedule for eligible priority incidents. Be ready to give the service ID, location, impact, affected applications, any workaround and a contact. Public support channels do not replace contracted incident procedures.
