Right-size each user

Not everyone needs the same plan

Data and features should follow the job. Group your team by the way they work, so every service earns its place in the budget.

  1. Role

What they do each day, and the apps and features the job relies on.

  2. Travel

Whether they stay at one site or move between job sites, customers and regions.

  3. Hotspot use

Whether laptops, tablets or equipment connect through the phone.

  4. Losing service

What happens to the business if that person can’t be reached.

Use shared or pooled data only where the live product supports it and the business benefit is clear.

Coverage

Coverage where your team works

Check the named network at the places your team actually works. Published population reach is useful context, but it’s not a guarantee at a specific place or inside a building.

The device you choose, and how it’s installed, matter too.

  • OfficesIncluding inside the building, not only at the street.
  • Job sitesWhere the team works on the tools or with equipment.
  • Customer locationsThe places your staff visit to do the work.
  • Travel corridorsThe regular routes between sites, customers and regions.

Simpler administration

Know who has what, and who can change it

Keep an up-to-date service register: user, number, plan, device, contract date and cost centre. Then decide who can order changes, how lost services are handled and what happens when someone leaves.

Your service register records

  • User
  • Number
  • Plan
  • Device
  • Contract date
  • Cost centre

And sets clear rules for

  • Who can order adds and changes
  • How a lost or stolen service is handled
  • What happens to the number and device when an employee leaves

Compare mobile options

See the service and the device as separate costs

Where devices are offered, we show outright and repayment cost, term, ownership, early-exit treatment, compatibility and warranty separately from the service.

  • Ongoing price shown as clearly as any promotional price
  • No single, unexplained monthly figure for service and device
  • We don’t assume you need a new device when a compatible one can be used

Review before renewing

Check the fleet before you roll it forward

Before anything rolls over, compare what your team really uses with what you pay for. Then check for unused services, excess charges, coverage problems and contract dates.

Plan the transfer sequence carefully for numbers the business can’t do without.

  1. 1

    Actual usage

How much each person really uses, compared with what you pay for.

  2. 2

    Inactive services

Numbers still billed but no longer used.

  3. 3

    Excess charges

Where staff regularly go over their allowance.

  4. 4

    Coverage issues

Places where your team has reported poor service.

  5. 5

    Contract dates

Upcoming end dates, so nothing rolls over by default.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Plain answers about plans, numbers, coverage and devices.

Can different staff have different plans?

Yes, where the available product catalogue allows it. Match allowances and features to each person’s role and usage, instead of giving every user more than they need.

Can we keep our existing numbers?

Generally, yes, if they’re eligible and active and the account details are correct. Plan the sequence carefully for numbers your business can’t do without.

Can you support regional and remote workers?

We can compare authorised network options and check published coverage for the places your team works. Actual service is still subject to network, device and local conditions.

Do you provide devices?

Only where they appear in the live catalogue. When they do, we show the cost, term, ownership and service commitments clearly, separately from the service.
